PROFESSIONAL SPRAY TAN

Q: Are there any harmful ingredients in the product?

A: All Noir Tanning Solutions products are paraben-free, cruelty-free, vegan and made from the highest quality ingredients. Dermatologists will agree that Tanning with DHA formulation is much safer than tanning for prolonged hours in the sun. Skin allergies are not common however we do recommend that you conduct a patch test before your first spray tan.

Q: Will Noir Professional Tan stain my clothes after I have had a spray tan?

A: No, Noir Professional Tan bronzers are made using the highest quality ingredients available, this helps prevent colour coming off onto clothing and sheets Noir Professional Tan during the development process, we do recommend that loose fitting clothing is worn whilst your tan is developing.

Q: How long does a Noir Tan last, and how can I extend that?

A: Noir Professional Tan should last from 7 to 10 days depending on skin type and condition. Before your tan ensure you exfoliate to remove dry, dead skin cells and moisturise morning and night after your spray tan has fully developed.

Q: Can I have Noir Professional Tan sprayed on to my face?

A: Yes, Noir Professional Tan can be sprayed on the whole body.

Q: Is it okay to use spray on tan during pregnancy?

A: There are no conclusive tests showing that spray tanning during pregnancy is harmful, and the ingredient in the tanning solution that gives you your tan is DHA and this is made from sugar cane, and has no known problems. However, this is your decision, and we recommend you consult with your LMC or Doctor

Q: Can I breastfeed and get a Spray Tan?

A: If breastfeeding we suggest that you leave your bra on while being sprayed, so as not to get your breast tanned.

Q: When is the best time to shave/wax, before or after spray tan?

A: Shaving/Waxing is recommended at least 24 - 48 hours prior to having your spray tan, this is to ensure the pores of your skin are closed. If the pores of your skin remain open bronzer can become trapped in the pores of your skin creating a spotted effect.

Q: I’m wearing a moisturiser will it affect my spray tan?

A: Some moisturisers act as a barrier against your spray tan, so we suggest removing all moisturiser before your spray tan.

Q: When is the best time to exfoliate, before or after a spray tan?

A: Exfoliate from head to toe 24 - 48 hours before a spray tan, or applying your self-tanning mousse, while paying particular attention to areas such as your knees, elbows and ankles.

Q: I haven’t exfoliated and/or shaved yet, will this affect my tan?

A: We really recommend exfoliating and/or shaving 24 - 48 hours PRIOR to tanning. If you haven't, the tan / mousse will still go on, but it can result in a patchy end result, or a tan that doesn't last as long as it should.

 

MOUSSE

Q: Will Noir Mousse stain my clothes after I have applied it?

A: No, Noir Mousse dries in seconds and doesn’t stain your clothes or sheets.

Q: How long does a Noir Mousse last, and how can I extend that?

A: Everyone’s skin naturally exfoliates at a different rate, with proper preparation and maintenance your Noir Mousse will last between 4 - 7 days. To ensure your tan looks perfect for as long as possible use the Noir Deluxe Exfoliator Mitt to remove all your dead skin cells beforehand. This provides an even surface for applying your Noir Mousse. Following application keep the skin hydrated with daily application of a high-quality moisturiser.

EXFOLIATOR MITT

Q: How do I use my Noir Exfoliator Mitt?

A: Insert your hand into the Noir Exfoliator Mitt and starting with your face, neck and chest, work your way down your body and limbs. Using circular motions, ensure you're using adequate pressure so as to remove any dry skin and rough patches.

Q: Should I exfoliate while my skin is wet or dry?

A: You can use the Noir Deluxe Exfoliator Mitt wet or dry.

Q: How often should I wash my mitt and how?

A: Hand wash your Noir Deluxe Exfoliator Mitt in warm water to remove any excess skin or debris, you can do this by adding a touch of soap to the water. Gently wring out any water and leave to dry fully before next use.

 

APPLICATOR MITT

Q: How do I use my Noir Applicator Mitt?

A: Insert your hand into the Noir Deluxe Applicator Mitt. Pump a small amount of your Noir Mousse on the mitt and apply using circular motions, blending as you go to ensure even coverage.

Q: How often should I wash my mitt and how?

A: We recommend hand washing your Noir Applicator Mitt in warm water once a fortnight to remove any excess tan, you can do this by adding a touch of soap to the water. Once clean gently wring out any water and leave to dry fully before next use. It’s important to note that you shouldn’t use any washing detergents as they can be too harsh.

Q: How do I know it is safe to shop with you?

A: Noir Tanning Solutions will always treat your information with the utmost respect and we'll never sell your data.

Q: How do I know if a product is in stock?

A: When any of our products are out of stock, the price will not show, and you will be unable to add it to your cart. If an item is on preorder, it will show on the product description.

Q: What types of payment do you accept?

A: We currently accept credit card and debit card via Paypal, online banking, as well as the artpay system called Laybuy.

Q: Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Q: Do you accept internet banking or transfer?

A: Yes. Your order will be shipped once payment has been received. Any internet banking orders than remain unpaid after 14 days will be canceled.

Q: Can I place my order and pay later?

A: We offer Laybuy, which enables you to pay 1/6th of your total now, and then make weekly payments for the remaining amounts.

Q: What currency are your prices in?

A: We use New Zealand Dollars (NZD)

Q: Do your prices include GST?

A: Yes.

 

COURIER AND DELIVERY

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes.

Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes?

A: No, because it isn't possible for a courier to ship to a PO Box.

Q: What are your courier fees?

A: We only use tracked, traced & signature required shipping methods. New Zealand wide is $8.00, and rural shipping is $11.00. International shipping is $15.00.

Q: How long does delivery take?

A: Depending on the time you place your order, it will either be picked and packed the same or the next business day. Delivery times are based on geographical location.

Q: Will I have to sign for my delivery?

A: Yes. Any courier items left without obtaining a signature is at the risk of each courier driver.

Q: How do I change my shipping address after my order has been placed?

A: Addresses can only be changed if an email is sent immediately and if your order has not yet been processed. This is due to our courier system, and how our courier and address labels are assigned.

Q: My items haven’t arrived, What can I do?

A: Please contact us immediately if you do not receive all the items you ordered, and we will then arrange the replacement of your products.

 

RETURNS

Q: I have received the wrong order/items. What do I do?

A: Please contact us immediately if you have received an incorrect item. We will rectify the situation and arrange the return of any incorrect items.

Q: I have received damaged items. What do I do?

A: Please take photos of the damage and contact us immediately, we will then arrange the return and replacement of your products.

Q: I have changed my mind and no longer want my products. What do I do?
